About the game

Four free daily word games in one Lexora circuit

Lexora is a free daily word-game circuit for people who like their puzzles quick and their apps honest. Every day brings the same four-game set to everyone: Daily Word, Connections, Word Ladder, and Squares.

Guess a five-letter word, sort sixteen clues into four categories, climb between words one letter at a time, and trace eight hidden words across a 4×4 grid. Each game has its own result, and all four roll into one spoiler-free Daily Circuit scorecard.

No download, no account, and no subscription nonsense. It runs in your browser on any device — the way word games worked back when the internet was fun.

Lexora and the Daily Circuit

What is Lexora?+
Lexora is a free daily word-game circuit. Everyone receives the same Daily Word, Connections, Word Ladder, and Squares puzzles each UTC day, then combines the four results into one spoiler-free scorecard.
Which games are included in Lexora?+
Lexora includes four games: a six-guess Daily Word, a four-group Connections puzzle, a shortest-path Word Ladder, and a 4 by 4 Squares word-search board.
When do Lexora puzzles reset?+
A new shared four-game Daily Edition appears worldwide at 00:00 UTC. The countdown is calibrated from the game server, so device time and local time zones do not select a different puzzle.
Is Lexora free and does it require an account?+
Lexora is free to play and does not require an account, subscription, or download. Progress and statistics are stored locally in the browser used to play.
How does the Daily Circuit work?+
The Daily Circuit contains one puzzle from each of Lexora's four games. The circuit is complete when all four games have ended, and the daily scorecard records how many of the four were won.
How are Lexora streaks calculated?+
Each game tracks its own local win streak. Winning consecutive global Daily Editions increases that game's streak, while a loss breaks it; Circuit progress is tracked separately.
Can I share Lexora results without spoilers?+
Yes. Lexora's share card shows the Edition number, date, result, colored pattern, and Circuit score without including Daily Word letters, Connections answers, or hidden Squares words.

Daily Word

How do you play Daily Word?+
Guess the five-letter answer in no more than six valid attempts. Green means the letter and position are correct, yellow means the letter is elsewhere in the answer, and gray means no unused copy remains.
How are repeated letters scored in Daily Word?+
Exact-position matches are scored first. Remaining letters are then marked yellow only up to the number of unmatched copies present in the answer, so duplicate guesses cannot create extra yellow tiles.
What is a good Daily Word starting word?+
A useful opener combines common vowels and consonants, such as CRANE, SLATE, or AUDIO. The best choice reveals information; it does not change the answer or provide an extra attempt.

Connections

How do you play Lexora Connections?+
Select four words that share one exact category and submit them together. A correct group leaves the board; solve all four groups to win the puzzle.
How many mistakes are allowed in Connections?+
Connections allows four incorrect group submissions. Correct groups do not consume a mistake, and selecting, deselecting, or shuffling words does not use an attempt.

Word Ladder

How does Word Ladder work?+
Change exactly one letter at a time to transform the starting word into the target word. Every intermediate rung must be a valid word of the same length.
What does Par mean in Word Ladder?+
Par is the verified shortest number of letter changes between the start and target. Alternative valid paths are accepted, but the target must be reached within the displayed move limit.

Squares

How do you form words in Squares?+
Press any tile and drag through horizontally, vertically, or diagonally adjacent tiles. Release to submit the traced word and find all eight hidden targets to clear the board.
Can a Squares tile be reused?+
A tile cannot be used twice within the same traced word, but it can be used again in other words. Dragging back to the previous tile removes the most recent tile from the current path.
Is there a time or mistake limit in Squares?+
No. Squares has no timer and no mistake limit. Duplicate or non-target words do not increase progress; the puzzle is won after all eight hidden target words are found.
